Leak reveals hardware of the Galaxy S7 with Exynos 8890 chip

Galaxy S7

While we’re already aware of the #Snapdragon820 toting #Samsung #GalaxyS7, a new AnTuTu benchmark listing has revealed the Exynos 8890 model of the flagship. The revelation was made by the official AnTuTu page on Chinese social media site, Weibo. The account however refrained from giving away details on the benchmark scores of the smartphone, but we should expect more details on that over the coming days.

The model listed here has the model number SM-G930F, which indicates that this is a global variant. The handset shares the rest of the hardware with the previously leaked Snapdragon 820 variant, which includes the 5.1 inch Quad HD display, a 12-megapixel camera on the back, a 5-megapixel front camera, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Galaxy S7 is expected to be unveiled at a February 20 event, so there’s just about a month left for the launch of the handset. We expect to learn more about the hardware of the Galaxy S7 in the days to come.
