Chinese manufacturer #Letv has been on the forefront of technological advancements in the Chinese mobile industry as we’ve seen over the past few months. The company is now planning to release the world’s first handset with the #Qualcomm #Snapdragon820 chipset on board, calling it the Le Max Pro.
In addition to featuring the benchmark topping SoC, the smartphone is also said to be sporting an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor known as Sense ID, making it the first device to have the honor. This will supposedly offer improved fingerprint scanning compared to conventional capacitive fingerprint sensors that are available today, which should give it a leg up over the competition.
The handset will also support WiFi 802.11ad, which allows high speed data transmission speeds at up to 8 Gbps. This however works if you have devices in direct line of sight, so its application will be very limited in the everyday user’s life.
In addition to the aforementioned specs, the Le Max Pro will also come with a 6.33 inch display (probably Quad HD), 4GB of RAM, 32, 64 or 128GB of internal storage, a 21-megapixel camera on the back, a 3,400 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
