Google Maps update brings Driving mode to devices

Google Maps

A new update to #GoogleMaps has introduced support for Driving mode, which is essentially like #GoogleNow for when you’re driving. The feature can be spotted with the version 9.19 update of the application, so make sure you’re on the lookout if you use Google Maps on a regular basis.

Along with this new feature, the Maps app also brings some other handy features like an easy toggle to switch off notifications for turn-by-turn navigation. This can be spotted right below the microphone button during navigation. There’s the ability to completely turn it off or let it sound off only on important alerts, so you’ve got all the necessary toggles in place there.

The update should be live on the Play Store, so make sure you check if there’s an update pending in the My Apps section. Google Maps is one of the integral navigation applications for Android, which makes it a must have for the customers. Have you seen the new update on your devices yet?
