CAT S50c

#CAT (Caterpillar) is a renowned name in the rugged machinery industry. The company is also involved in the smartphone industry with its range of ruggedized devices that we’ve seen for quite some time now. The manufacturer has now released the #S50c smartphone for the American markets with the help of #VerizonWireless.

The device comes with a suite of features that make it worthy of your attention. The highlight here is that it is designed for tough working environments. The company claims that the display on the smartphone can function even with gloves on and if your fingers are wet, making it a very versatile product.

The S50c comes with a 4.7 inch 720p display, a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable), a 2,630 mAh battery and Android Lollipop.

The smartphone can be bought from CAT directly for $399, which is a very good price for the kind of hardware that’s packing here. The phone comes with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance, which is yet another bonus feature.
