AT&T bound Galaxy S7 hits benchmarks with Snapdragon 820 SoC and Android 6.0.1

Samsung Galaxy S6

The #Samsung #GalaxyS7 smartphone has just leaked out in yet another benchmark listing, but this time carrying support for AT&T, going by the model number SM-G930A. The handset here is shown to be packing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset underneath, along with 4GB of RAM and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, confirming yet again that this is going to be a specs powerhouse when it lands in the market next month.

This is a fresh benchmark listing, so we can vouch for the authenticity of its contents. The quad core Snapdragon 820 SoC was always expected to be packing the Galaxy S7 along with a bunch of other rival flagships, so we’ll certainly get to hear a lot more of it over the coming days.

The presence of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is not really a surprise given that it’s the latest version of Android right now and Samsung usually likes to release new hardware with the latest and greatest version of Android. The smartphone is expected to go official on the 20th of February, so there’s still some time left for the Galaxy S7 to be unveiled, although we expect more of these leaks to follow over the coming days.
