ASUS ZenFone Zoom now on pre-order via B&H Photo Video

ASUS ZenFone Zoom

#ASUS has just brought the #ZenFoneZoom smartphone to B&H Photo Video on pre-order. The handset was announced for the American markets recently with a launch scheduled for early February. The retailer is charging $399.99 for the smartphone, which is pretty decent considering what it brings to the table.

As this is only a pre-order for now, the actual availability probably won’t commence until the 1st of February as originally scheduled. So placing the pre-order now will only ensure you’re the first in line to get the smartphone when it eventually launches in the U.S.

The ZenFone Zoom was originally announced about a year ago at CES, but ASUS never really brought the device to the markets. However, this slightly upgraded model has finally received the approval from the company and the launch should go on without a hitch.

The handset comes with a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a quad core 2.5 GHz Intel Atom Z3590 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage (expandable), Android 5.0 Lollipop and a 3,000 mAh battery. The highlight of the smartphone is the optical zooming rear camera which has a 13-megapixel sensor underneath. There’s a 5-megapixel selfie camera as well with the ZenFone Zoom.
