The #Google #PlayMusic app on Android has received a new update today which might be of interest to the users. Thanks to the keen eyes of Droid Life, it has been discovered that the update enables thumbs up and down buttons right within the notifications bar, letting you like or dislike a song without having to open the app in full screen mode.
A feature like this is long overdue and enhances the user experience to a great extent. There don’t seem to be any other changes with the app at the moment, but we’ll make sure you’re the first to know if and when we find out. All the tracks that you’ve given a thumbs up to will be listed in the thumbs up section on Play Music, so nothing has changed in that regard.
Although I’m not a big fan of Play Music myself, it’s good to see that Google is adding nifty little features like these to keep the users entertained. The update might not reflect on all devices right away, so remain patient if you don’t see it yet.
