#Samsung has now started sending out a minor update to the Galaxy S6 edge+ as well as the #GalaxyNote5 smartphone. This could well be the monthly security update that Samsung promised to send out to its devices after the #Stagefright vulnerability was discovered, so don’t expect any massive changes on board.
As of now, updates have started hitting Galaxy Note 5 with the model numbers SM-N920C and SM-N920G, while the Galaxy S6 edge+ with the model numbers SM-G928C and SM-G928G are getting the update. The software versions will change to N920GUBU2AOK3 and G928IDVU2AOK8 on the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ respectively.
The pertinent display lag issue on both the devices has supposedly been fixed with this update, which is welcome news for the customers. It might take some time to reflect on all devices, but the update should start hitting all models of the handsets very soon. Carriers on the other hand might take their time in sending out this particular update.
