HTC’s Android 6.0 update roadmap leaked out

HTC Marshmallow

#HTC has already clarified that it will be sending out the #Android 6.0 update to multiple smartphones over the coming months. A new leaked roadmap has now given us a very good idea of when exactly the update will be sent out to the devices.

Here are the devices that have been listed in the roadmap – HTC One M8, One M9, One M9+, ME, Supreme, One M8, One M8S, One E8, Butterfly 2, Butterfly 3, Desire Eye, Desire 526, Desire 626, Desire 816, Desire 820 and the Desire 826.

While the HTC One M7 from 2013 is also listed here, it has sadly reached EOL (end-of-life) status, which means there will be no future updates for the smartphone. Barring this device, practically every other handset mentioned above will either receive Android 6.0 or Android 6.0.1 by at least Q2 2016. All versions of the update will come with Sense 7.0 bundled.

The roadmap also mentions that the recently launched One A9, which was released with Android 6.0 will get an update to Android 6.0.1 by early Q1 2016. Click on the image below to learn when the update might be reaching your favorite HTC device.
