It’s common knowledge by now that Chinese manufacturers are very successful in their home region, thanks to the ultra low pricing and the features that they pack in their device.
One such manufacturer is #Meizu, which has now reported sales of 20 million smartphones in 2015 alone. This is quite a big figure for a company that operates from within Asia, with practically no presence in the U.S. or other major markets of the world. Meizu’s most recent device the PRO 5 was launched a couple of months ago and is already a hit in the Chinese markets.
This goes to show how competitive the Asian markets are today with the likes of Xiaomi, Lenovo, Huawei etc also among the successful companies in the region. With 2016 promising more phones, the competition will no doubt increase and the companies will have to step up their game in order to remain successful in the regions.
