The #ASUS #ZenFoneZoom was originally unveiled earlier this year by the manufacturer although the device was briefly delayed by the company. The handset is now ready to make its way to the global markets and keeping that in mind, the company has decided to showcase its marquee feature – the 3X optical zoom.
Despite featuring such superior camera credentials and a bulk of hardware under the sensor, ASUS has managed to keep the thickness of the device to a bare minimum, which is quite a feat front the Taiwanese manufacturer considering the fact that the device also has an optical image stabilization sensor underneath.
The ZenFone Zoom comes with a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, 4GB of RAM, 64/128GB of internal storage (expandable), Intel Atom Z3580/Intel Atom Z3590 chipsets (both quad core), Android 5.0 Lollipop and a 3,000 mAh battery.
The handset is currently limited to a handful of regions such as Taiwan, but given what the device has to offer, we should see it releasing in major global markets as well.
