2015 Moto G getting Android Marshmallow update

Moto G 2015

The 2015 #MotoG is one of the best feature rich budget phones to have come out of a big OEM in recent memory. A new revelation has found that the company has already started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the smartphone, which goes to show that #Motorola isn’t shying away from updating a cheaper and budget ranged device.

This however, doesn’t come as a surprise to us considering how Motorola has already updated its top of the line flagships from 2015. However, the company’s handsets from 2014 still await an update, with the Moto G (2014) as well as the Moto E yet to get it. Some variants of the 2014 Moto X will probably never get the update at all, which has obviously angered users of the device.

From what we can tell, the 2015 Moto G is not getting the update all at once, so some users might have to wait a few days to see the update on their devices. But if you own the handset and are already seeing the update, make sure you let us know by hitting the comments section below.
