Sketchy looking render of the Nokia C1 smartphone pops up

Nokia C1

The rumor mill has been buzzing with talk that #Nokia will soon release the C1 smartphone in partnership with contract manufacturer #Foxconn. And now, a very optimistic render of the device has popped up, showing us what appears to be the smartphone with an #Android (Nokia Z Launcher) as well as a Windows 10 model, hinting at two variants of the same device. This is something that #Xiaomi did recently with the #MiPad2.

However, there are a few aspects of this render that raise suspicion and alarm. Firstly, the device here is shown to be sporting an oddly placed power button on the top, while the volume rocker is also positioned high up on the right hand side. This is unheard of as it doesn’t make sense to have higher button placement for large phones. So keeping that in mind, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt for the time being.

We’re sure that more such images will pop up in the wild, so this might just turn out to be the real deal. What do you think?
