Samsung releases new Remote application to control the Galaxy View tablet

Galaxy View Remote

#Samsung released the #GalaxyView tablet recently with its unusually large form factor meant for media viewing and productivity oriented work.

Naturally, the device is not something that you can carry around in your person all day, which means that it might remain stationary in one location for prolonged intervals. If that’s the case, Samsung has now made it easier for users to navigate on the tablet without having to manually touch the display, thanks to the new Remote application.

The app is simply known as Galaxy View Remote and connects to the tablet over Bluetooth, giving you the ability to interact with the device using a virtual cursor while also offering navigational controls as well as an “OK” button. The app is compatible with any device running Android 4.4 or higher and you don’t necessarily need a Samsung device to download the app.

This is an excellent app from the company and will serve to make the lives of the customers a whole lot easier. The Galaxy View tablet is currently available in the U.S. exclusively via AT&T, so your options are relatively limited if you want to get the device.
