Samsung promises to include premium features in its mid-range and budget devices

Galaxy Note 5 - Samsung Pay

#Samsung uses some premium features with its new smartphones. However, some of these features are missing on midrange and budget devices that are sold by the company. A new report has now mentioned that this trend might be changing very soon as Samsung is supposedly looking to bring these features across all devices, irrespective of their pricing and place in the market.

The report mentions that the Korean manufacturer wants to utilize features like the fingerprint scanner and Samsung Pay with its budget devices, which will increase adoption to a great extent. As of now, Samsung Pay is only compatible with the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, the Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5, so adding more devices to the lineup will surely help the company’s cause.

Analysts are even speculating that Samsung will include a fingerprint scanner in practically every device apart from the feature phones and ultra low end models. This can only work in Samsung’s favor as features like the fingerprint scanner and Samsung Pay will go a long way in popularizing the company’s services.
