Renders of the Huawei Mate 8 smartphone leaks out showing a premium metal design onboard

Huawei Mate 8

The #Huawei #Mate8 smartphone has just leaked out in a couple of new renders, showing us what appears to be a top shelf design with a metal body. The leak comes from reliable French source @OnLeaks, who has also published a video of the renderings, showing the handset from practically every angle.

As we can see from the renders, the handset comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back and a uniquely designed camera sensor. The Mate 8 will supposedly be released in a 1080p model as well as a more premium Quad HD model. Further specs include 32/6GB of storage (expandable), 3/4GB of RAM and a 20.7-megapixel camera on the back, Android 6.0 Marshmallow as well as a 4,100 mAh battery pack.

Considering that it’s running Marshmallow out of the box, it’s safe to assume that it will use Google’s fingerprint scanner APIs for a smoother experience. The Chinese manufacturer is expected to release the handset in exactly a week from now on the 26th of November, so we can probably expect to find out more about the device over the coming days.
