#Motorola was based out of Chicago back in the early 1900s and almost as a tribute to its heritage, the company is now releasing a new retail outlet in the city to showcase all its products in one place. This will include products like the #DROIDTurbo2, the #DROIDMaxx2 as well as the #MotoX Pure Edition that were launched recently. Naturally, the company will also showcase the second gen #Moto360 at the outlet.
The company has had retail outlets before, so this is nothing new. However, given the current market situation, this is a bold step from the manufacturer to encourage more walk-in customers to try out their products. In a way, customers can expect to get better tours and demonstrations of the devices considering that the employees will be working for Motorola directly and not a retailer.
This is no doubt a cautious step from Motorola and it is yet to be seen if the company will look to expand into other regions of the U.S. What do you make of this move from the company?
