Latest Android Wear update introduces a couple of gesture features

LG Watch Urbane 2

#AndroidWear 1.4 is currently running on the #LG #WatchUrbane2 with more devices slated to get the update soon. A new revelation has found quite a few changes underneath, mostly with regards to gesture features on the device. The update supposedly introduces gestures to scroll through #GoogleNow cards, go back, get more details as well as return to the watch face without having to touch the display.

It is said that the update also enables support for watches with speakers to receive notification sounds right on the wearable. This is important for devices like the Watch Urbane 2 that can make and receive phone calls on their own. It is said that this feature can be enabled on compatible devices under accessibility settings listed as Audio Feedback.

If you have a compatible device with you, make sure you keep an eye out for these changes. Naturally, there’s no clarity on which Android Wear smartwatches will get the update, but at this point it has been said that the 2nd gen Moto 360 and the Huawei Watch will be getting the update.
