#Google recently put up disclaimers on apps to tell users that they’re family friendly. A new report now mentions that Google will now encourage developers on the #PlayStore to mention when an app comes with ads on board. This is a move to enhance user experience and warn them that there are going to be advertisements on the version of the app that they’re using.
On Android, most users have come to expect ads on almost every free app these days, but it’s good to know that Google wants to make things more transparent by mentioning it directly on app listings.
Google is sending out emails to developers to tell them about this new change. The Mountain View giant has also mentioned that if developers don’t list that their apps are ad supported, Google will be able to manually ad the label on their own. This ultimately means that users aren’t left in the dark, which is a very good move.
