Amazon now selling the BlackBerry Priv with Prime shipping

BlackBerry Priv

The #BlackBerryPriv smartphone is already available from a handful of retail outlets including AT&T as well as BlackBerry’s own online retail portal. One of the biggest online retailers of the U.S., #Amazon has now joined the fray as well. The retailer is offering the handset along with Prime shipping for eligible customers, so you can get the device delivered to you in no time.

It’s good to know that the BlackBerry Priv is becoming more freely available across the board and we hope that more retailers like Best Buy (listed as coming soon), Target etc follow suit.

The Priv is a major device for BlackBerry as it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, which is a first for the company. Also, the slider form factor could be a hit or a miss with the audiences and the company will be mindful of that. With a price tag of $699, the Priv won’t go easy on your wallets, so it will be interesting to see how the device fares in the markets after launch.
