ZTE announces lease-to-own program for its devices in the U.S.

ZTE Axon

#ZTE has only recently started to expand into the American markets. And given its high ambitions in the industry and the willingness to release more devices in the U.S., the company is looking to offer attractive buying options for the customers.

The manufacturer has now announced a new lease-to-own program for its devices like the Axon Pro and the Spro 2 Smart Projector, letting customers pay for the device in monthly installments, much like what most companies and carriers offer.

In order to reduce dependency on credit scores, ZTE is introducing something known as SmartPay, which eases the process to some extent. If you want to upgrade your device at a future date, all you have to do is simply return the device to SmartPay (in working condition) and pick a new one, assuming you are up to date on the monthly payments.

This is a very attractive promotion from the Chinese manufacturer and will certainly draw more customers towards the company’s offerings.
