Verizon sending out Samsung Pay update to all four 2015 Galaxy flagships

Samsung Pay - Verizon

Although #Verizon was initially said to be skipping on #SamsungPay, the carrier made a U-Turn shortly and announced that the feature would be enabled through a software update. Well, Big Red is now sticking to its word and has announced the rollout of the Samsung Pay update for four of Samsung’s 2015 Galaxy flagship handsets.

The Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy Note 5 as well as the Galaxy S6 edge+ are said to be getting the updates. It must be noted that Verizon is one of the last carriers to send out the update to Samsung Pay as the rest of the carriers had already sent out the firmware patch some time ago.

But better late than never as they say and it’s good to see that Verizon owners won’t be left out of the Samsung Pay action. The carrier also sent out the much awaited Stagefright patch to these devices.

Samsung Pay can be officially downloaded from the Google Play Store, assuming your device is supported.
