Samsung Galaxy Tab 5 8.0 for AT&T reaches the FCC

Galaxy Tab

The #Samsung #GalaxyTab5 8.0 meant for AT&T has just been certified by the FCC, hinting at an imminent arrival. The tablet listed here has the model number SM-T377A, which makes it pretty obvious that this is in fact headed towards AT&T in the U.S.

Aside from the fact that the smartphone has an 8 inch display and supports AT&T’s 4G LTE frequencies, there’s not much we can tell about this device right now. In any case, since the certification process has already been completed, we’re guessing the device won’t be far away from a release.

#Samsung hasn’t yet officially released the Galaxy Tab 5 series yet, but this revelation tells us that the company could soon launch the series with AT&T probably getting dibs on the 8 inch model, at least in the U.S. The Galaxy Tab series have historically been budget ranged tablets, so expect a sub $300 pricing with the Galaxy Tab 5.
