Ever since the #OnePlus2 was announced, there has been rumblings about another handset being revealed by the Chinese manufacturer. The company has made no secrets of this now by posting a teaser, hinting that the device will be announced on the 29th of October.
This is the same smartphone as the OnePlus X, so it’s understandable if there’s some confusion among the fans. The OnePlus X is expected to be packing a 5 inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera (dual-camera setup) and the latest version of Android. It is being said that this will be a mini version of the OnePlus 2, which is understandable going by the hardware.
The OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2 have 5.5 inch displays, so the shrink in the display size is probably the biggest change on offer here. It has been said that the OnePlus X will also come with a fingerprint scanner underneath, much like the OnePlus 2.
Mark your calendars for October 29 as it could be a big day for OnePlus fans.
