Korean manufacturer #LG has just released the #WatchUrbane smartwatch with an LTE chip inside, making it the first #AndroidWear smartwatch to have 4G LTE underneath. The wearable retains the 1.38 inch circular P-OLED display underneath, 768MB of RAM and 4GB of storage for apps and other native content.
LG is using the relatively older Snapdragon 400 chipset with the 2nd gen Watch Urbane, which is also seen on most of the first gen Android Wear smartwatches. As for the pricing and availability, the company is yet to offer detailed information, but it is believed that the U.S. and South Korea will be on top of the list when the time arrives.
Considering that the first gen Watch Urbane was a relatively expensive smartwatch, we don’t think the successor will be any different. Expect a pricing close to $300–$350 when the wearable starts hitting the markets officially. What do you think of the second gen Watch Urbane? Would you be interested in shelling out your money (however much) for this device?
