Huawei publishes Android 6.0 roadmap for its devices

Huawei Honor 7

Almost every manufacturer out there has shared word on the #Android 6.0 update for their smartphones. #Huawei has now followed suit by giving its users something to cheer about.

The Huawei P8, Mate 7, Mate S, P8 Youth Edition, P8 Max, the G8 (Maimang 4), G7 Plus, G7, Honor 7, Honor 7i, Honor 6 Plus, Honor 6, X2, 4X, as well as the Play 4C.

As you can see, the list is quite long and a broad spectrum of devices are covered here regardless of their status in the mobile industry. Most manufacturers have focused primarily on high end and midrange offerings, but it’s welcoming to see that Huawei is thinking differently. We’re not sure as to when the update will be sent out, but it is being said that work will begin sometime in November.

Considering the fact that these smartphones are supposed to be running a skinned version of Android with the Emotion UI, we don’t think it will be available right away, so don’t hold your breath.
