Hardware of Samsung’s upcoming 18 inch Android tablet leaks out

Galaxy Tab Pro

We recently heard about Samsung’s intentions to release a massive 18.4 inch tablet running #Android. Today we’re getting detailed word on the hardware of the device courtesy of a new leak.

The tablet comes with a 18.4 (or 18.5) inch display sporting a paltry 1080p resolution display, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 1.6 GHz Exynos 7 chipset, a 5,700 mAh battery and hopefully the latest version of Android.

It’s quite evident that this device will not be targeted towards the common man and will instead be focused on schools and other educational institutions where students can learn via interactive devices. The device has been in the rumors for quite some time now, so we’re guessing it will be available for purchase very soon.

Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, so this might remain one of those devices that Samsung is merely testing in its labs and not really looking to bring into the market.

Do you think an 18.4 inch Samsung tablet could be suitable for your home/office?
