AT&T confirms plans to release the LG G Vista 2 in the U.S.

LG G Vista 2 - AT&T

Following the release of the #LG #GVista smartphone last year, LG has decided to follow it up with the #GVista2 now. This handset has officially been confirmed to be launching via AT&T, thanks to a video posted by the carrier. The G Vista 2 is a significantly improved version of its predecessor and comes with a couple of nifty upgrades which should make it a worthwhile upgrade.

The handset is shown to be sporting a 5.7 inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, a 5-megapixel front camera, the octa core Snapdragon 615 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable) and Android 5.1 Lollipop with 4G LTE rounding off the specs sheet. There’s no clarification on when the handset will be officially available for purchase as the carrier has merely announced the release of the device.

Pricing details are relatively scarce at this moment as well. But given the kind of hardware it’s packing, we think the smartphone should retail for somewhere around the $299.99 mark. Do you like what you see with the G Vista 2? Sound off below.
