T-Mobile sending out Samsung Pay update for the Galaxy Note 5

Galaxy Note 5

With #SamsungPay officially expected to be available in the U.S. over the coming days, carriers are pushing to officially enable support on compatible devices. T-Mobile has now started sending out the update for the recently launched #GalaxyNote5, which means it should be ready for Samsung Pay when the service officially kicks off in the U.S. this Monday.

The feature is making its way to the device in the form of a small 30MB update, so make sure you’re on the lookout for an OTA notification. Naturally, the update also comes with the usual suite of bug fixes and other patches and isn’t just limited to Samsung Pay.

Since the update rollout has only begun now, it might take a couple of days to reflect on your Galaxy Note 5, so don’t lose patience if you’re not finding the update yet. However, if you’re already seeing the update on your smartphone, make sure you drop a comment below and let us know.
