Sony Xperia C3 users now seeing the Android 5.1.1 update

Xperia C3

#Sony released the #XperiaC3 midranger in August last year. The handset is now the recipient of the Android 5.1.1 update, which is being sent out over the air to devices. Bear in mind that it might take some time to appear on all variants of the Xperia C3, so maintain patience if you don’t see it on your phone yet.

The update changes the build to 19.4.A.0.182 and is applicable to both the standard single SIM and the dual SIM variants of the smartphone. Since the Xperia C3 is only available in a select bunch of European and Asian markets, the update seems to have gone live for the most part.

For those unaware, the Xperia C3 is a budget device with emphasis on the front facing selfie camera which is accompanied by a single LED flash. The company released a slightly upgraded Xperia C4 earlier this year with the same LED flash and front camera arrangement.

Do you own the Xperia C3 and have you seen the update yet? Let us know in the comments section.
