Samsung pushes its anti-Apple campaign with two new ads

Samsung Pay

#Samsung recently took a jibe at #Apple #iPhones with a video ad. The company has now added two new ads to the list. One of them is about wireless payments or #SamsungPay. This is undeniably one of the biggest advantages Samsung has over the iPhones, at least in terms of wireless payments.

The ad even has an iPhone making an appearance briefly, showing us that it’s not compatible with standard swipe payment terminals. This is only possible with Samsung Pay thanks to the Magnetic Secure Transmission or MST technology.

While Apple Pay works with a bunch of NFC enabled payment terminals, Samsung Pay can even function on standard swipe units with just a wave gesture. This means that Samsung Pay is compatible with a wide range of retailers and merchants while Apple Pay isn’t.

The second ad talks mainly about the display of the Galaxy S6 edge and the Galaxy S6 edge+ and takes no jibes at Apple, but ends with the catchy “It’s not a phone, it’s a Galaxy” tagline.
