A popular Chinese source has just revealed what is believed to be the press rendering of the #OnePlus mini smartphone. We’re treated to images of both the back and the front.
The images, while convincing, could very well be the work of a fan, so we’re taking them with a pinch of salt. In place of the front facing fingerprint scanner on the home button, the render shows a sensor placed on the back panel, much like we’ve seen from Huawei and a few other manufacturers.
There’s not much to tell from the front portion of the smartphone apart from the fact that it perfectly mimics the OnePlus One. There are no hardware keys on the bottom bezel, so we’re guessing the company will stick with capacitive keys like in the 2014 flagship. The USB Type-C port appears to be visible here along with speaker grills on either sides.
It is hoped that the company will spill details on this smartphone very soon. What do you make of these renders?
