With #Samsung officially announcing the #GearS2 and the #GearS2Classic wearables a few days ago, a new revelation is giving us a very good idea of how the company will price the two wearables, and it’s not all good news.
The prices mentioned here are for the European regions, so we’re not sure if they’ll apply to other markets as well, but it’s fair to assume that there won’t be much disparity in terms of global pricing. To start things off, the Gear S2 will supposedly cost €349 ($388) in Finland and 2,599 DKR ($387) in Denmark, so it’s quite clear that this won’t be targeted towards the budget conscious.
The Gear S2 Classic is priced at €399 ($443) and 2,999 DKR ($446), which is understandable as the wearable comes with a slightly enhanced design. The company has announced that the wearables will be available from all four major carriers of the U.S., so expect a Stateside release soon. However, given the pricing mentioned here, we’re not sure if too many customers will be eager to get their hands on the wearable. What do you think?
