New render of the LG V10 leaks out with secondary display on top

LG V10

The #LG #V10 smartphone has just made an appearance on a leak, giving us a very good idea of what to expect from the handset. Much like what rumors had predicted, the smartphone is shown to be carrying a secondary display on top which can contain icons and even serve as a ticker. This is something that the leaks had suggested previously as well, so it’s good to see that we’re getting confirmation on that right now.

The idea of a secondary display is somewhat reminiscent of the Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy S6 edge which have curved displays with the edge acting as secondary displays for selected content.

LG V10 Ticker

A senior LG executive has already hinted that the company will be releasing a new flagship before the end of 2015, so this could very well be it. The manufacturer recently launched the LG Class in some markets, which was initially rumored to be a high end device but turned out to be a midranger.

We hope to hear more about the LG V10 in the days to come.
