We saw the #LGClass leaking out on multiple occasions, with the most recent leak giving us an excellent idea of the frontal design of the handset. And today, the smartphone was finally revealed by the company in a relatively low key affair. While the design of the handset is quite premium (barring the thick bezels on the front), the hardware underneath is midrange at best.
The smartphone is packing a 5-inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable), a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 2,050 mAh battery. All of this is enclosed in a body that is only 7.4 mm thick, which is quite a remarkable feat for the company.
The smartphone has been priced at 399,300 Korean Won or $339. Going by this, it’s quite evident that the company isn’t touting this to be a high end device but a midrange offering. There’s no word on a global release at this point, so one can say that the device is limited to the company’s home region for the foreseeable future.
