HTC teases launch of two new flagships for its Sep. 29 event

HTC A9 September 29

HTC’s #OneA9 smartphone has already been spotted in several leaks before. While the company was supposed to release the device by the 6th of September, the day has come and gone with no signs of the company releasing the device. Well, the Taiwanese manufacturer has now scheduled an event for the 29th of September, with the invite hinting at the release of two new devices.

The company hasn’t made it abundantly clear as to what this second handset will bring to the table, although the company’s invite mentions that there will be “double” flagships on offer, so we’re guessing it will be an equally capable handset. It has been rumored that the One A9 will be powered by a 5.2 inch 2K display, the 10-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, 4GB of RAM, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 3,500 mAh battery underneath.

We’ll keep our eyes and ears peeled for more information on the second flagship that’s said to be on offer from the company. These could be make or break devices for HTC, which means there’s a lot of pressure on the company to succeed this time around.
