Google’s upcoming Nexus phones to be known as the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P

Huawei Nexus

We’ve already learnt that the upcoming #LG #Nexus smartphone will be known as the #Nexus5X. A new report is now telling us that the #Huawei Nexus will be known as the #Nexus6P. This comes as we’re just under two weeks away from the official unveiling of the two handsets.

There’s very little in the form of an explanation behind the naming, but we’re expecting more word to follow over the coming days as we lead up to the release of the handsets. Interestingly, the Huawei Nexus 6P will only pack a 5.7 inch display on board, which is a decrease compared to last year’s Nexus handset which packed a large 6 inch display panel.

The resolution however should remain unchanged at Quad HD, which is excellent news. Other specs of the handset should include a Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel camera and a decently sized battery. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be running by default on both devices.
