Google Now Launcher users seeing Android 6.0 style app drawer

Google Now Launcher

We already know that #GoogleNow Launcher is seeing some updates that enables easier searching of apps. But along with this, #Google is also enabling the Android 6.0 style vertically scrollable app drawer as many users have found. Interestingly, this feature is not limited to a particular device and practically everybody with the Google Now Launcher can find this app drawer on their devices.

For some users, the long press to search feature didn’t show up until the latest update, so that’s a new addition to the launcher as well. As you know, the app drawer is not exactly the same as Android 6.0 Marshmallow and there are no widgets on offer here. But we think this is Google’s way of making users familiar with the forthcoming changes and perhaps we’ll see more updates to the launcher as Android 6.0 is officially showcased this Tuesday.

If you’re running Google Now Launcher on your device, the update should have already hit your smartphone/tablet. If not, make sure you head over to the link below and manually install the update on your device.

Do you favor the vertically scrolling app tray over the older design? Share your feedback below.
