A new report suggests that #Facebook is now working on a dislike button for posts, which is a feature that has been long overdue for quite a few users out there. This will allow users of the popular social media platform to voice their opinions about something more evenly, rather than just resorting to just a comment or a like.
It is said that Mark Zuckerberg reportedly admitted to have begun working on a Dislike button for the social media platform. He is believed to have said the following during a public Q&A – “People have asked about the ‘Dislike’ button for many years … and today is a special day, because today is the day that I actually get to say we are working on it and are very close to shipping a test of it.”
This button won’t necessarily be a way to right out dislike something though, as Facebook supposedly wants to implement a way to “express empathy” towards certain posts that might be about something unfortunate or sad. This is certainly a start from Facebook and we hope to learn more about this over the coming days.
Do you welcome the addition of this new dislike button?
