BlackBerry Venice now part of new hands-on video

BlackBerry Venice

The #BlackBerry #Venice handset went through an extensive leak a few days ago. The device has made an appearance yet again, but in a video this time. Much like the previous leak, this here gives us an excellent real world glimpse of the device and tells us what to expect in terms of design as well.

It is shown that the similarities with the BlackBerry Passport don’t end with the design itself and that the smartphone will also come with a touch sensitive keypad. This lets you scroll the content on the device without having to touch the display.

So essentially, what you’re getting here is a physical QWERTY keyboard that also doubles as a trackpad. This could be a heavily endorsed feature as it would negate the length factor of the device. The keyboard pops out of its place in a cool sliding mechanism, which is something that we all know at this point.

It is also confirmed that the BlackBerry Venice will come with all the standard apps that are bundled with the Google Play Services, and will also include the full suite of BlackBerry apps meant for enterprise users. We can’t wait for the smartphone to be unveiled and it’s shaping up to be a flagship killer going by the hardware.
