Adblock Browser now available on Android

The #Adblock Browser for #Android is now officially available for download on Android, despite Google’s opposition to the idea. While Adblock was available as a standalone solution for Android, Google found it to be in breach of its policies and hence removed the app from the Play Store. To combat this, the developers decided to use the Adblock solutions within a web browser, which has been in testing for quite some time now.

The Adblock Browser promises to increase web page loading times and also offer an enhanced browsing experience for the users. Much like the desktop version, the app allows users to whitelist certain apps if they feel that the ads in that particular page are manageable.

While Adblock is a godsend for users who don’t like annoying ads to pop up during usage, it has created quite a lot of trouble for advertisers who make a living out of mobile and desktop ads. You can download the Adblock Browser from the Play Store link below, but we’re not sure for how long. This browser is also available for iOS devices and can be downloaded via the iTunes App Store.
