Xiaomi to take on Samsung with the Mi Edge curved display smartphone: Rumor

Xiaomi Mi Edge

The #Xiaomi #MiEdge smartphone has just been leaked out on Chinese social networks, revealing what appears to be a dual sided curved edge display. It’s not known if this will see the light of the day anytime soon, but if it does, #Samsung’s Galaxy edge series will finally have some serious competition.

The rendering of the smartphone looks a little sketchy, so we suggest you take it with a large dosage of salt. The rumor goes onto say that the smartphone will feature a 5.2 inch Quad HD display, 4GB of RAM, a hexa core Snapdragon 808 SoC, a 16-megapixel rear camera and Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The company is also expected to be using a fingerprint scanner with the smartphone, which is something that we’re particularly curious to see. The Chinese manufacturer will also take the wraps off the Mi 5 flagship sometime soon, so the company clearly has a lot on its plate. Do you think there’s any credence to this new leak?
