T-Mobile’s support page has revealed the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 LTE, suggesting that an official release is right around the corner. Interestingly, the carrier is yet to confirm the release of the tablet, but posting a support document on the site is usually a good indicator of things to come.
For those not in the loop, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is Samsung’s midrange budget tablet meant for the masses. It features an 8 inch 1024 x 768 resolution display, a quad core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop and a 4,200 mAh battery.
T-Mobile’s support page has the LTE version listed, so expect this to be slightly more expensive compared to the WiFi models that are currently selling online. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 WiFi is priced at nearly $180 right now, so T-Mobile could ask for somewhere around $200 for this variant. The launch should take place pretty soon as the support page has already gone live.
