Sprint sending out Samsung Pay update to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge

Samsung Pay

#Sprint has started sending out an update to its variant of the #GalaxyS6 and the #GalaxyS6edge carrying support for #SamsungPay and YouTube live broadcasting. The former is more important given the imminent release of the service in the U.S. This very update was recently issued by Samsung on a global level, so it’s good to see that the carrier is quick to get the update to its customers.

The changelog mentions UI updates, which is interesting and could bring some nifty features to the fore. From what we can tell, the company has slightly revamped the camera to get it on par with the Galaxy S6 edge+, but has left out features like RAW image capture and shutter speed control. So if you’re using a Sprint branded Galaxy S6 or the Galaxy S6 edge, make sure you’re on the lookout for an update.

If you haven’t seen the notification yet, heading over to the settings might help. The update shouldn’t bring any other major changes to the fore. It is 303MB in size, so it is recommended to stay on an unlimited connection before proceeding with the download and installation.
