The #Sony #XperiaZ5 smartphone has leaked out a couple of times along with the #XperiaZ5Compact. A new leak is now showing us some convincing looking press photos of the device, something which isn’t meant for public viewing at this point. Sony clearly has someone within to blame for this, but we’re not exactly complaining.
The leak reveals a design that is quite similar to previous Xperia flagships, including the relatively bulky and thick chassis. The side has the Xperia logo etched onto it, which is a nice touch. One of the press photos also reveals the 23-megapixel camera on the device, which is pretty decent considering that we’ve only seen 20.7-megapixel sensors on Xperia flagships for two years now.
The company’s teaser has already hinted that the focus will be on the camera aspect of the device, so it will be interesting to see what the company has in store for us at the IFA 2015 event next week. The Xperia Z5 is rumored to be packing a 5.2 inch 1080p or Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage and Android 5.1 Lollipop. The company is also said to be using a fingerprint scanner with the home button located on the right hand side of the device.
