New report details the first Samsung devices that are set to receive the Android 6.0 update

Samsung - Android 6.0 Marshmallow

With #Android 6.0 #Marshmallow set to be available in a couple of months now, #Samsung has already confirmed the devices that will be getting the update. However, users will have to wait until the beginning of 2016 to get the update, which is still good considering that Android 6.0 isn’t expected to go mainstream until November or December this year.

Here is the list of Samsung devices that will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow starting early next year:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+
  • Samsung Galaxy S6
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 edge
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 4
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Duos
  • Samsung Galaxy Note Edge
  • Samsung Galaxy Alpha
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab A

Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t confirmed the arrival of the update for older devices like the Galaxy Tab 4 or even the AMOLED clad Galaxy Tab S and the Galaxy Tab S2 tablets, but we’re guessing these devices will be added to the list over time.
