Verizon LG G3 is getting a version VS98524B update starting today which should fix some of the bugs that were present on the handset with the Android 5.0 update that was rolled out earlier this year. It must be noted that the LG G3 was one of the first OEM handsets to get the Android 5.0 update, which also meant that it was more likely to catch some of the bugs that were present with the update early on.
But Verizon LG G3 owners will be glad to know that these issues will now be fixed and can continue using the smartphone free of bugs. The update still doesn’t bring Android 5.1.1 to the device though, but we expect that to be rolled out sometime soon. LG already has a working Android 5.1.1 ROM which is used in new devices like the LG G4, G4 Beat etc, so the company will probably use the same ROM for the LG G3 as well.
Head over to the source link below for complete details on how to get the update. You can also head over to the Settings page on your handset to pull the update manually.
