Samsung launches new Level U Bluetooth headset

Samsung Level U

Samsung has just unveiled an upgraded version of the Level U Bluetooth headphones. The design resembles the predecessor in a lot of ways and also the LG Tone Infinim headset that has been around since last year.

If there’s an area where the Level headphones trump every other offering in the market, it’s with regards to software support, courtesy of a dedicated app available through Samsung. The app can be downloaded by any smartphone or tablet running Android 4.2.2 and up. It can notify you of missed calls, battery percentage and a whole lot more, so it’s a must have if you’re getting the headphones from Samsung.

The new Level U headphones make use of Bluetooth 4.1 and the apt-X Codec, so Samsung has used the latest tech on board. Samsung has priced them at $79.99, which is quite decent for a pair of premium Bluetooth headphones. You should be able to get them across the U.S. through retail outlets starting today i.e. July 1. The company hasn’t shared launch related details for other countries.
