We’ve heard bits and pieces about Samsung’s Galaxy S5 Neo, although nothing has materialized up until now. But a new listing by a Dutch retailer suggests that the release of the handset might not be far away after all. Belsimpel has listed the Galaxy S5 Neo bearing the model number G903F on its site, which partially confirms the existence of the handset, although we’ve had no word from Samsung on this yet.
What’s interesting is that the listing mentions the use of Samsung’s Exynos 7580 chipset, which strongly suggests that this device will feature new hardware. Although rumors had pegged the device to be packing a 5-megapixel front camera on the handset, the listing mentions a 2-megapixel sensor instead, much like the original Galaxy S5.
The handset is shown to be available in Silver, Black and Gold color configurations, so there will be multiple choices for prospective buyers. As far as the pricing is concerned, the Galaxy S5 Neo will not go heavy on your wallets at €430 or $470.
With a listing going live prematurely, we’re expecting an announcement to take place sometime soon. Don’t be surprised if the company keeps this device limited to Europe or Asian regions.
