Motorola has scheduled an event for the 28th of July where the company is expected to reveal the Moto X as well as the midrange Moto G handset. According to new data accessed from Indian import listing site Zauba, Motorola could be prepping to release the Moto G in two RAM and storage variants, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage while the other is revealed to be packing 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
It’s likely that these models will be targeted towards different parts of the world, although it’s just as likely that the company will keep the two together at varying price points, which is something that other manufacturers have done in the past. The listing also tells us that the smartphone will be available in White and Black color variants, much like the predecessor.
This shouldn’t matter much though as reports have indicated that Motorola will open Moto Maker’s gates for the 3rd gen Moto G as well, which is something we’re looking forward to. With a little under a week left for the release of the 2015 Moto G, all the mystery will soon be revealed.
